The future complex will feature a nearly 100,000-square-foot casino with 2,000 slot machines, 40 table games, and a “state-of-the-art” sportsbook, a hotel with just under 400 rooms and suites, and several dining outlets and bars, among other amenities. Station Casinos wants to build the gambling venue on a 71-acre parcel of land on South Durango Drive not far from 215 Beltway. The multi-million dollar scheme, dubbed Durango Station, has been in the works for over a decade and Nevada-based casino operator Station Casinos in July revealed plans to revive it and finally complete it.Īt a meeting held Tuesday night, the members of the Spring Valley Town Advisory Board voted in favor of those plans, clearing an important obstacle before the project. A long-stalled project for the development of a hotel-casino complex in the Southwest Las Vegas Valley cleared a major hurdle this week. ![]()
